favorite suit! July 11, 2008 This is the best suit that I have had in years! Very flattering on and the belt is just in the right spot to camoflage the stomach area. I have gotten more compliments about this suit than any other suit that I have ever owned. My husband likes the zipper, ha. When they mention that it looks like you take 10# off it is the complete truth. I will be purchasing this suit in purple.
This is the cutest bathing suit I've ever owned! August 13, 2008 Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to wear it at the beach! I bought it to wear on a trip to California but it was too cold to wear that day. The bathing suit looks great on me. I bought the violet color and it's quite sexy. Imagine, looking sexy on a 53-year old body! I'm a few pounds overweight and the suit covers the areas just where I need it. I never imagined finding a suit that I would absolutely love. I had been searching for months!
good swimisuit for swimming as well as sunning October 5, 2008 After injuring my knee I have returned to the pool to rehabilitate the leg. I first wore tankinis, only to find out that the tops tended to float up and had to be pulled down over and over again. Then tried a one piece suit, but the shoulderstraps kept falling down. Ordered this swimsuit in purple, and love it!!! The halter top stays on, the material is good...and most of all, it comes in TALL sizes. Now going to order a black one so that I will stay stocked up!
Not what I expected July 19, 2008 The skirt on this swimdress fell much higher than I expected from the picture. I'm not sure if mine was defective or not but the skirt was not as long as the one in the picture and made my hips actually appear larger (I'm a size 4). Newport News didn't charge me to ship it back to them, but I'm out the cost of shipping it to me initially. All the reviews were glowing and that's why I purchased it. I've learned my lesson...never buy a swimsuit without trying it on first.
