I found this dress on a completely different website, but it was over seventy dollars. I went browsing on here and found it for I believe it was forty-nine or the likes. The hat was cheaper as well, but let me tell you, though: I don't care how much it cost. This dress is amazing. And so is the hat.
I bought the outfit for the premiere night of Pirates of the Caribbean 3 and to put it simply, all my friends are envious, all the boys are drooling. The only thing you need to be careful of is the bottom of the dress. If you have a body like mine, (a small frame, but a curvy one), your tush might want to pop out. It is short, but I wear skating tights with it underneath my fishnets (not included) and nothing shows. Also, if you live in an area like mine, the temperature can get quite hot. And while I don't run around San Diego in a wench costume on a daily basis, when I tried it on, I quickly got overheated and had to take it off. The only reason for this is that both the dress and the hat have velvet on it.
Other than those two little things, this dress (and accompanying hat) is amazing! I highly suggest this costume over others.

I got my costume yesterday, and I was very pleased with how well made it is - not cheap looking at all! The dress is somewhat stretchy, but does run pretty true to size. I am a size 8 in most things, and the size Large (8-10) I ordered fit with a little room to stretch. It would comfortably fit a person who is a size 10 also. The laces on the front are not functional, but the ribbons are a very nice touch. The skirt is very short, but I doubt anyone ordering a costume like this is expecting otherwise... it does look great on! Make sure you order a petticoat too - otherwise you will not get the same look.

I bought this from First Fantasies at a fair price (approx 40$). You will not be disappointed! It is well made and will turn you into one sassy fine piratey wench.
The XL runs TRUE to size 10-12. The nice thing is that there is room to take in the straps should you shrink. :)
I recommend the hat (also well made and sassy) and the petticoat (it's 10$) to make this costume the star of the show.

This costume is so hot, just like the pic. It was not my first choice (I wanted the booty pirate, but since they RAN OUT -.-, I went with this one, and I'm happy with my choice.) I first thought that the velvet bottom was an overlay, but it's attached to the skirt. It doesnt really make a difference it's still cute and comfortable. *Must*: get the petticoat, it will definatly pull off the look. The costume IS short, trust me on this, But common sense tells you...it will be uber short only if your uber tall; which I am, but it does not reveal too much. Pair it with some fishnets, some stockings, and some incredible boots and you have yourself a great costume. The order came rather quickly, because I selected the 3day delivery option.It came packaged in regular costume packaging. *Must*: Get the hat or something like it or very close too it, maybe even a nice scarf around your head will do. which is what I'm doing, you'll really look piratey then; without it, it looks something like a peasent girl or something- but still adorable. I gurantee you'll fall in love with it.

This costume looked fabulous! I stitched the black straps to my bra straps so they stayed in place, but that was all the work it needed. I came in 2nd place (second only to Marie Antoinette) at the costume contest!
