We bought the bear for our five year old girl and the puppy for our two year old boy. They are cuddly and adorable. The story book that comes with the bear is wonderful. The wand remotely activates the light show and I was able to turn the puppy on for my son without having to go into his room. Highly recommend this item even if your kids aren't scared of the dark. It's a perfect sleeping pal.

My daughter decided she was big enough that she didn't need a night light anymore (she's almost 7), but was a little nervous about it at the same time. She had gotten this bear for Christmas, and sleeps with it, so she decided to try no night light and put the bear on her dresser where she could see it. She sleeps with the wand under her pillow, and if she wakes up in the middle of the night, and is nervous, she pulls out the wand and turns the bear on. It has worked like a charm!

This bear is awesome! It glows very brightly and changes color slowly (like a light show) or you can change the colors yourself by pressing the paw or using the wand (which also lights up). It is larger than I expected, which is nice. It also included batteries, which is amazing. The paperback book is a cute bonus.

My niece loved this bear, especially when she found out that the magic wand makes the bear turn on and off, and change colors! It worked from as far as 15 feet back for me! Excellent bear, nice and soft. Especially for how much I paid for it!
My daughter's newest love January 1, 2007
I bought this toy as a christmas gift. Kind of an add on since the price was very low, much lower than is currently advertised and I thought she might find it cute. She loves this bear. The wand changes the light shows but isn't really a necessity since you can change the lights by pressing the paw. No real pressure required so a young child can easily do it. The lights are vivid and beautiful and my daughter looks forward to bedtime with this bear. The wand will change the colors from very far away, we can't find a place in our house it won't work from. For a child ages 3 to 5, I would highly recommend this. Even her macho older brothers (ages 7 and 9) are impressed. The batteries that came with it lasted about 5 days of constant use but when replaced with energizers, I expect they will last longer. The wand takes button batteries so be prepared with new ones when the lights go out and your child is wailing for her pretty blue light to come back on. One caveat, it can't be washed in the machine so surface clean only, a concern since it is white. I've found baby wipes work well so far. Five stars!
